# Starside Labs

> A small open source lab in Singapore building AI tools for people, not platforms. The tools are practical, local-first where it matters, and built to keep people in control of their data and their sources. Everything is open source.

- [Petrify](https://starside.io/projects/petrify): Removes people from camera footage while preserving the live timestamp. Uses: privacy compliance (PDPA/GDPR), footage compression, space and layout heatmaps, hazard detection, clean AI training data, any fixed camera. Frame-perfect, zero-config, fully local.
