About Starside Labs
We are a small open source lab in Singapore. We build AI tools for everyday life, the kind that help a real person get something done, and that hand control back to the people using them. Every line of it is public.
What we are about
So much software today decides things for you. A feed picks what you read. A cloud service holds your data. A model hides how it works. We think the more interesting, and more useful, path is the opposite one: tools you can read, run yourself, and point at the sources you trust.
That is the thread through everything we make. Petrify keeps your footage on your own machine. Neurowire lets you build a feed from the sources you choose, with no algorithm in the middle. Verso keeps your content as data you own. The technology is just the means. People staying in control is the point.
